Customer Service Representative / Office Administrator

 

For a Manufacturing Business with International Customer Base,

30-40 hours per week, starting wage range $13.50 – $16.50/hour

 

Victoria, B.C. Canada, close to Downtown, bus lines and bike path.

 

Access Panel Solutions Inc is a growing manufacturing and distribution business serving customers

throughout North America and the Carribean.  APS markets its products to the architectural design

community and sells to building contractors, owners and building products distributors. 

Orders vary in size from single doors to 40 foot freight container loads. 

 

Our business volume is growing again and we need somebody to help us keep our customers

coming back for our great service, as well as the great products.  

 

The individual will be able to interact with colleagues and customers with ease and should be able to

keep a busy office running.  Communicate professionally by phone, email, and mail.  This is an opportunity

Responsibilities include: 

Customer Service:

Receiving orders by phone, fax and email; consulting with customers on appropriate product selection and

delivery details; order entry into PC database system; following the order’s progess in-house;

invoicing & payment processing; accounts receivable administration (statements);

together with sales staff prepare quotations, including freight charges;

prepare some local, national and international shipping documents.

Consult with customers and refer to technical sales staff as needed, maintain contact database.

 

Office Administration: 

Mail in / out, reception, banking, overseas wire payments, product literature mailout.

Communicate with production manager, sales staff and manager.

 

Not included in duties: 

Bookkeeping, active sales calling, production related work. 

 

Experience: 

Experience in customer service and/or office administration preferred.
